Professionalism And Respecting Each Other Is A Start!!!

Well, well, well......I must admit, it is getting pretty nasty over in the "comments" section between some people.......I understand that their are people on both sides of the fence that are pretty angry with each other...But that is NOT the purpose of this blog....Our intent of this blog is very simple: start improving the Cayman Islands EMS with getting current registrations in order and various other serious issues that were previously mentioned in this blog or face the possibility of never having another ex-pat work there ever again!!!! That's it......This blog is hoping to force positive change not only for the paramedics and emt's, but for the patients in the Cayman Islands who they have to treat and deserve better....So far, we are seeing mini-steps in that Stephen Duval and various others are finally upgrading there ACLS and PALS certifications....Hopefully this is the start of something positive in the Cayman Islands, although there is much work to be done there, we must start somewhere...There is no use in partaking in homophobic comments nor personal and family attacks...Some of the locals still believe that T. Henriques and J. Dardano are facilitating this blog however contrary to popular belief they actually have nothing to do with it except for J. Dardano's response to personal comments about his family...As for T. Henriques, he did respond to one of the nasty comments made about Kendal Connor's serious condition in only trying to defend Kendal's problems...That's it...As far as this blog is concerned, the deep seeded anger towards the locals and vice versa measures into the many paramedics that have left the Cayman Islands with a sour taste in there mouth...This blog is the culmination of many paramedics that have left and want to see a more positive change before seeing any more of their fellow countrymen go through the hell that they themselves experienced down there...Our little "green" ambulance service is tired of hearing the horror stories and complaints upon there return... Professionalism, respect for the Caymanian patients they treat and stopping the fraud is all we want....Fraudamedics, you have the ability to change and become better believe it or not...Do not feel ashamed or at a lower level, we are all human, go out and re-take some courses and get currently certified. Give that respect and dignity to your patients, they deserve it, don't you think??? You will also be much more respected in the EMS community and on this blog not to mention feeling a lot better about yourself for doing the RIGHT thing....Look at yourselves in the mirror late at night and ask yourslf if you want to be better, if not, you are in the wrong profession and doing a great injustice to your patients, which is who counts in the end of it all.. In closing, let's be a little more respectful and professional to each other in the comments section, that goes for everybody, and think of ways to improve the service, and for those of you who do not want to improve the service maybe you should leave or step down from your post, Ta Ta for now.....EMS Blogster!!!!!!
